A pressed-stone plant in Yunfu, selling direct.
OPALY is the export brand of Guangdong Opaly New Material Technology Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of engineered quartz and solid surface in Yunfu, Guangdong. We press, polish and pack in our own buildings and quote from the plant, without a trading layer in between.
The plant
46,000 m² of site, 60,000 m² under roof.
Quartz lines and solid surface casting sit in the same compound at Dawan Industrial Park, which is why a mixed order — slabs for the worktops, a cast sink for the same kitchen — ships on one set of documents.
The plant is a National High-Tech Enterprise and runs a provincial R&D centre for functional solid surface, set up with the chemistry school at Sun Yat-sen University. New colours are developed in that lab before they reach the press.

How we sell
Direct from the plant, in containers.
Who we ship to
Importers, distributors, fabricators and project contractors. Not end users, and not one-off retail orders — the minimum is a hundred square metres per colour because that is what a pallet run costs to set up.
What we do not do
We do not cut to size, template or install. That work is done by a fabricator in your own market, which keeps freight down and puts the measuring where the site is. We supply slabs, sinks and baths, and the documents that move them.
How a first order runs
Send the colour codes, the quantity and the destination port. You get a price, a packing plan and a lead time. Samples go out before the order if you want them. Production starts on the deposit and the confirmed colour.
Group structure
Three companies, one set of papers.
Manufacturing, the brand and the export companies sit in separate legal entities inside the same group, in Yunfu, Guangzhou and Foshan. It matters for one reason: the invoice, the bill of lading and the certificate of origin have to name the same company, and the entity that can issue your market's paperwork is not always the one that pressed the slab.
